Oboe Lessons
Offering professional instruction in oboe for ages 9 to adult. Oboe lessons are offered to beginning, intermediate, and advanced oboe students. Lessons will include technical basics, including posture, tone quality, embouchure, breath control, hand position, and technique. Students will learn practice techniques to develop fundamentals and control over the instrument, so that we can focus on musicianship, which includes musicality, phrasing, solo repertoire, and performance strategies. Advanced students will work on orchestral works, solo works, etudes of Barret and Ferling, and reed making.
If you are in the Greater Tampa Bay area, in person lessons are available. Online lessons are also available to students worldwide.
